Vetware II

Initially Vetware II began development in response to the Year 2000 computer threat. As such, Compu-Trust embarked on a mission to produce a powerful, efficient, user-friendly software system. The outcome was Vetware II, a veterinary practice management system that is currently being used by approximately 200 veterinary hospitals throughout Canada and the U.S.A.

The design of Vetware II improved on the ease and flexibility of the DOS system, and added the power and user-friendliness of Micrososft Windows. While Vetware II boasted all of the standard features of great veterinary software, it combined a unique method of data-entry flow, which made it a single-entry system.

Appointments could be quickly and easily entered for accounts and animals. While entering the client's invoicing, medical prescriptions, vaccination certificates, inventory, and medical records, complete with multimedia entries were easily made in a single simple entry form. Truly, this was a single-entry Vetware system.

Vetware II Main Menu This screen shot shows three versions of the main menu for the Vetware II Practice Management Software system. A unique feature of Vetware II allows you design your own custom menu screen.

General Information screen This screen is your home base from which you will begin your work. Here you will look up accounts by last name, account #, phone # or animal name, then proceed on to the animal.

Accounting information screen This screen illustrates the basic information that is maintained on file for all accounts.

Account and Animal Options With this screen, you can see the Account and Animal Options that are available within Vetware II.

Treatment Entry Form This screen displays current account, animal and doctor information, while allowing you to enter animal treatment information. The system decides what items should be invoiced or sent to the medical record.

Clauses Vetware II allows you to select Clauses, for additional information entry into animal treatment.

Lab Summary Clause Here is a sample of a Lab Summary Clause. The Vetware user saves so much time as only the final summary data must be entered onto the pre-existing form.

Selecting Templates The use of Templates, simulates a touch screen method of easily entering charge codes into treatment.

Canine Vaccines Template Templates allow the user to associcate common codes together and present them as a group on the screen. Now the user can simply mouse click on the desires codes in order to enter them into treatment.

Rabies Tag Entry True to a single entry system, the use of a rabies vaccine code automatically prompts the user to enter the rabies tag that is to be dispensed to the animal.

Diagnosis Summary Upon completion of your treatment entry and your indication that your work with the animal is to be invoiced, the system automatically prompts the user to enter a Diagnosis Summary, as a quick reference for historical lookup.

Payment Entry Form The clinic can accept payment using an unlimited number of payment types. Up to three payment types can be received from a client during each individual situation.

Sample Client Invoice This nicely formatted invoice, clearly shows the account and animal information, followed by the work performed by the clinic, in a free flow style. You have great control over the presentation of the information. Complete accounting summarizes the invoice.

Animal History Lookup Complete animal history is available at all times. The overall summary of each situation is presented at the top, while details, including complete medical history is viewed at the bottom of the form.

Animal History Problem Search This feature allows the user to scan the animal record in much the same fashion as you would an animal record card. With electronic ease, you can filter all history, by date, charge code or description, to instantly single out a particular situation or problem.

Viti-Tech Processing Each morning, your received Vita-Tech results are presented to the screen. They may be immediately viewed or processed and added into the animal's history directly.

Viti-Tech Results Your Vita-Tech results may be viewed immediately upon being received, or they can be accessed directly from within the animal's history. The actual result document is maintained within Vetware.
