Hardware

What hardware would be best for our Vetware system?

Let's face it, choosing the right computer hardware is complicated.
It is constantly changing, evolving and developing.
But this is good news for veterinary hospitals.

With all of the constant changes, the hardware that you purchase today will be out-dated in just a few months. But, if we buy the right hardware today, it will still have life and a meaningful place in your veterinary clinic for many years to come. I believe that the computers which we buy today, will still play an active role within our clinics for at least four, possibly five years. Often the older computers can find a more remote, but useful location within the clinic, where it can still be functional, in your well designed network.

In the following sections, I will outline your hardware needs, for your new and constantly improving Vetware system.

Computers.
Printers.
Network.
Backup.
Internet.
